New Breast CT Scanner Rivals Mammography
At the Radiological Society of North America meeting in Chicago on November 27, researchers unveiled a new imaging system developed at the University that showed in a pilot study it could capture images equal to or better than mammography. (Reported by CNN, Forbes, Washington Post, Scientific American, and others.)

Recital Features Award-Winning Eastman School Pianist
Igor Lipinski, a graduate of the Ignacy Jan Paderewski Music High School in Tarnow, Poland, and sophomore at the Eastman School, will perform pieces by a range of composers, including Franz Schubert, Fryderyk Chopin, Franz Liszt, Ignacy Jan Paderewski, and Grazyna Bacewicz, in a recital on December 10 in Lower Strong Auditorium.
