Registration Opens for the Rochester Scholars and Rochester Scholars Jr. Summer Sessions
Rochester Scholars and Rochester Scholars Jr., pre-college academic programs for students entering grades 6-12, are now accepting registrations for this summer. Tuition discounts for the University Community are available. Finance Department Training Sessions
The Finance Department will offer two training sessions on Reading University Ledgers, Request for Payment Forms and Travel and Conference Forms. Sessions are on Thursday, April 19 in the Gowen Room in Wilson Commons from 1:30-4:00 p.m. OR on Wednesday, April 25 in the Upper Auditorium, 3-7619 at the Medical Center from 9:00-11:30 a.m. There is no charge for the training. John Tarduno, professor in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences, is quoted in an article discussing his recent study which suggests that Earth's magnetic field was nearly as strong 3.2 billion years ago as it is today.
