Learn More about
the Benefits of FSAs and HSAs
The Benefits Office Health Education series continues on April 30 and
May 7 with presentations on Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) and Health
Savings Accounts (HSAs). Learn more about the tax advantages, how the
two accounts differ, and how they work in conjunction with the University
Health Care Plans. Representatives from Aetna, Excellus, and the Benefits
Office will be available to answer questions. View

'Clean, Green' Solutions
Undergraduate students in the interdisciplinary entrepreneurship course "Solving
UR's Enviro-footprint" will present their team proposals to address
specific initiatives identified by last fall's Sustainability Task Force
at a public class today from 2 to 4:30 p.m. in 321 Morey Hall. The University

Cessation Program Returns
Well-U is now enrolling for a new session of Quitting Time, a four-week
smoking cessation program that is free for employees and their spouses. Register

Available for Youth Summer Programs
The Tauck Foundation is offering full tuition scholarships for the Rochester
Scholars Jr. and the Rochester On Campus summer programs for students
currently in grades 6-11. Applications are

“Glass Baby Bottles May Be Back”
Neil Herendeen, associate professor of pediatrics, says a third option
for baby bottles (in addition to bisphenol-free plastic and glass) may
soon be available to parents: "I've seen a couple of manufacturers
now looking at a stainless steel bottle, not just the juice cup. So I
think there are ways of making these less hazardous, with less chemical
exposure, you just have to look for those." Read
