Parking Permits Expire Next Week
On Wednesday, June 30, all current University parking permits will expire. To ensure uninterrupted access to your current lot, the Medical Center Parking Office and River Campus Parking Office are asking all faculty, staff, and students to renew their permits online as soon as possible.
Do You Have a Vuvuzela?
Calling all World Cup-crazy faculty, staff, and students. If you have a vuvuzela—those long plastic horns that are all rage in South Africa—or any other soccer-friendly noisemaker, join University vice president Paul Burgett at the center of Eastman Quad on Friday at 1:30 pm to be part of a video serenade as Rochester celebrates World Cup 2010. If you have flags, scarves, team jerseys, etc., bring them along.
Tomorrow is National Trails Day
Well-U is hosting a event from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday, June 23, on the Carlson Library Porch, in recognition of National Trails Day. Vendors will be providing information on health and wellness and a nurse will be on site for biometric screenings. Register online.

'Bargains and Beer' Preview Party
Get a jump on the Memorial Art Gallery's Art & Treasures sale at the "Bargains and Beer"' preview party from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, June 24. Admission is $15 in advance ($18 at the door). Reservations required. The Art & Treasures sale runs Friday, June 25, and Saturday, June 26.
