Lynne Maquat Receives Award for Service
Lynne Maquat, the J. Lowell Orbison Chair and Professor of Biochemistry and Biophysics, was honored with the RNA Society's Lifetime Achievement Award in Service on Saturday.

Eastman Students Share Stage with Stars at Fundraiser
Eastman School students will perform with singer Chaka Khan and trumpeter Rick Braun on July 10 for the annual Belasco Family Foundation summer concert that raises funds for Eastman jazz scholarships. For information on reservations and tickets to attend Jazz on the Pond, see

'Summer Sings' Return in July
Singers of all ages and abilities are again invited to take part in Eastman Summer Sings, a popular series of choral music reading sessions held Tuesday evenings in July at 7:30 p.m. in Kilbourn Hall.

Event Helps Bring Comfort to Hospitalized Kids
The Ten Ugly Men Festival, which will take place Saturday, July 24, at Genesee Valley Park, will support Golisano Children's Hospital's pediatric palliative care program.
