University's Annual Fund Has a Record Year
Urban Fellows to Share Experiences
Thanks to the support of alumni, parents, faculty, staff, and friends, the University 2010 fiscal year concluded with a total of $10.5 million to the Annual Fund. Unrestricted annual giving to the University has doubled in just five years, a virtually unprecedented achievement in higher education.
Faculty, staff, and students are invited to attend the 2010 Urban Fellows presentations today from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Interfaith Chapel, River Level. See the schedule of presentations.
Rochester Scholars Present Projects Today
High school students taking part in Summer Session A of Rochester Scholars will present their projects and activities from noon to 1 p.m. today in the Schlegel Hall Rotunda. The event is free and open to the public. For more information, contact the Office of Pre-College Programs at 275-3221 or visit http://enrollment.rochester.edu/precollege.
Biometric Screenings Available Tuesday
Biometric screenings are available at no cost for regular full-time
and part-time faculty and staff and spouses/domestic partners enrolled
in a University health care plan. You may receive one biometric
screening per calendar year. To schedule an appointment e-mail Christine_withers@urmc.rochester.edu.
Education Session: Your Health During Vacation
Representatives from Aetna and Excellus will be on hand at the University today and tomorrow to provide employees with information and tools to prepare for unexpected situations while traveling. The Benefits Office Web site includes times and locations.
