Events Mark Anniversary of Italian Baroque Organ
Audiences are invited to join the celebration of the fifth anniversary of the installation of the 18th century Italian organ in the Memorial Art Gallery. A celebratory series of performances launches Sunday, Oct. 17, with recitals by Eastman School organ faculty members and students.

Wilmot Cancer Center Nurse to be Honored
Patti Murray, associate director for cancer services at the Wilmot Cancer Center, will be honored by Gilda’s Club of Rochester on Saturday, Sept. 25. She will receive the Champ Award for outstanding service to people with cancer in the Rochester area during Gilda’s Gala at George Eastman House.

Next Lecture in Biomedical Genetics Series Today
Christina Scheel, a postdoctoral fellow at the Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, will give the next lecture in the Biomedical Genetics Speaker Series today at 12:30 p.m. in K-307 (3-6408), Medical Center. She will discuss “Formation and Maintenance of Mesenchymal and Stem Cell States in the Breast by Paracrine and Autocrine Factors.”

Classes Offered at Fitness Center
The Medical Center's Fitness and Wellness Center offers a variety of classes to employees: A 5-week Tai Chi session begins Wednesday, Sept. 29, with classes held every Wednesday from 5:15 to 6:15 p.m. The cost is $35 for non-members. Iyengar yoga is held each Monday evening from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at a cost of $22 for non-members. A Zumba premium class also is offered from 5:15 to 6:05 p.m. and is $4 for non-members, with discounts available for multiple class registration.
