Video Chronicles Warner Summer Program
A new video
describes the Horizons six-week summer enrichment program run by the
Warner School for kindergarten through eighth-grade students from
Rochester city schools. The program is designed to keep students engaged
in core subjects such as reading, math, and science during the summer
months by blending lessons with activities in art, sports, cultural
enrichment, and field trips.
Meliora Weekend Keynote Lottery Closes Aug. 1
The lottery for tickets to the live,
Meliora Weekend keynote address by Barbara Walters on Oct. 13 will be
open to entries until noon, Wednesday, Aug. 1. Date of entry has
no bearing on lottery results. Lottery entrants will be notified of the
results on Thursday, Aug. 9, by email. Tickets are $25. For more

Webinar Looks at How to Get the Most out of LinkedIn
John Hill, higher education evangelist
with LinkedIn, and the University's Office of Alumni Relations, will
offer "Leveraging the Power of LinkedIn—Beyond the Basic Profile," a
free webinar exclusively for members of the University community at 1
p.m. Aug. 3. Registration is required. A confirmation will be sent to participants containing webinar log-in information.
