Berk Discharged to Begin Acute Rehabilitation
Bradford Berk, the Medical Center CEO who suffered a severe back injury last month, was transferred to Kessler Rehabilitation Center in New Jersey yesterday to begin acute rehabilitation. Berk's surgeons say his progress is "far beyond what we expected."
Simon School Commencement is Sunday
The Simon School commencement ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. Sunday, June 14. Edmund Hajim, chairman of the University Board of Trustees, chairman and CEO of MLH Capital LLC, and a 1958 alumnus of the College, will receive the David T. Kearns Medal of Distinction and will deliver the commencement address.
Football and Life Skills Camp Planned This Weekend
The free Football and Life Skills Camp, sponsored by the University and Youth Lifeline America, a not-for-profit organization founded by Super Bowl champion and Rochester native Roland Williams, will be Saturday and Sunday, June 13 and 14, at Fauver Stadium.

Friends of Rochester Athletics Golf Classic
The second annual Friends of Rochester Athletics Golf Classic is June 25 at Ravenwood Golf Club. Registration is from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Shotgun start is at 1 p.m. Prizes will be awarded for longest drive and closest to the pin.
Computer Sales Launches Back 2 School Specials
University IT Computer Sales launched its annual "Back 2 School" specials. Discounts of up to $600 are available on last generation Apple laptops. Warner Graduate has Big Screen Dreams
Warner School graduate Brian Bailey created the Rochester Urban Youth Film Festival in 2005 as a way to give Rochester City School students the opportunity to show their work publicly. In May, the festival partnered—for the second year in a row—with the Rochester/High Falls International Film Festival’s "Young Filmmakers Festival" to produce a collaborative juried media competition for regional youth.
