Jannick Rolland Named to New Brian J. Thompson Professorship in Optical Engineering
Jannick Rolland, professor of optics and biomedical engineering, has been named the first Brian J. Thompson Professor of Optical Engineering in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. She is also the associate director of the recently completed Robert E. Hopkins Center for Optical Design and Engineering. Read more...
Panel Discussion Looks at History of Diversity on the River Campus
The Minority Student Advisory Board marks its 10th anniversary with a University-wide forum at 7 p.m. today, April 23, in Sloan Auditorium. The discussion and open forum will focus on questions regarding the quality of life for today's students, how the issues have evolved over the last 10 years, and how those issues are being addressed by the current administration. Tips for Coping with Work and Family Stress
The Employee Assistance Program and Well-U are offering a free stress management workshop to employees on Monday, May 18. "Coping with Work and Family Stress" will cover a variety of strategies for reducing stress and will help participants develop a personal stress management action plan. Registration is required.
