Rochester Scholars Application Deadlines Approaching
Deadlines for registering for summer sessions of Rochester Scholars and Rochester Scholars Jr. are approaching. The noncredit courses are available to students in grades 6 to 12. The application deadlines are: Rochester Scholars Residential Program, Friday, June 5; Rochester Scholars Commuter Program, Friday, June 12 and Rochester Scholars Jr. Program, Friday, June 26. Salon Open During Summer Months
The Mane Attraction Hair and Tanning Salon in Wilson Commons is open during the summer. Hours are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Call 275-3388 for an appointment. Walk-ins are accepted.
Security Tip of the Week: Online Shopping
Internet shopping can be convenient and economical, but be wary of who you are dealing with and exactly what you are buying. Make sure you know what your total cost will be and what the company's return policies are. Never send personal information like a Social Security number and always use a secure Web site.
