Physics and Astronomy Research Experience Program Renewed
The Department of Physics and Astronomy has been awarded a $434,468
grant to renew its Research Experience for Undergraduate program for
another three years.

ACL Injury Prevention Training Available for Coaches
Training programs developed by University Sports Medicine are being offered to Section V high school coaches to help launch what is believed to be the nation’s first and only community injury prevention program for ACL tears among female athletes.

Talk on Refugee Health Care in Rochester
The Diversity Task Force, a subcommittee of the Nursing Practice's Professional Development Council, continues its cultural education series from 11 a.m. to noon today with a discussion of refugee demographics in Rochester. Louise Bennett, clinical assistant professor in the Department of Family Medicine, will talk about medical, social, and hospital needs of the refugee population, the refugee process and local refugee settlements. The presentation will be held in the Medical Center Boardroom (AC 2).
