Construction on Elmwood Avenue Today
Crews will be paving part of Elmwood Avenue today between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. One of the north lanes is expected to be closed for part of the morning. The work is part of the Pediatric Replacement and Imaging Sciences Modernization (PRISM) tower construction.

President Seligman To Welcome International Students
President Seligman will welcome 450 new international undergraduate and graduate students from 55 countries on Labor Day, Sept. 7 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Hubbell Auditorium, Hutchinson Hall. The full day of activities will include information on campus and community services, immigration rules and regulations, a student panel, and a fashion show highlighting weather-appropriate gear for the year ahead. Public Health Grand Rounds Discusses Global Vaccination Gap
A discussion on the global vaccination gap will take place from noon to 1 p.m. today in the Class of ’62 Auditorium in the Medical Center. For more information, contact Sheila McCart.

University Mourns Loss of Harvey Shine
The University flag will be lowered today in memory of Harvey Shine, an environmental services worker, who died Aug. 10. Shine, who lived in Rochester, was 61. He joined the University in May 1996.

Individual consultations with Fidelity, TIAA-CREF, T. Rowe Price and Vanguard are available at various times and locations to assist with retirement and financial planning under the University retirement program.
