Construction on Elmwood Avenue Today
Crews will be paving part of Elmwood Avenue today between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. One of the north lanes is expected to be closed for part of the morning. The work is part of the Pediatric Replacement and Imaging Sciences Modernization (PRISM) tower construction.
President Seligman To Welcome International Students
President Seligman will welcome 450 new international undergraduate and
graduate students from 55 countries on Labor Day, Sept. 7 from 8:30
a.m. to 4 p.m. in Hubbell Auditorium, Hutchinson Hall. The full day of
activities will include information on campus and community services,
immigration rules and regulations, a student panel, and a fashion show
highlighting weather-appropriate gear for the year ahead. For more

Public Health Grand Rounds Discusses Global Vaccination Gap

University Mourns Loss of Harvey Shine
The University flag will be lowered today in memory of Harvey Shine, an environmental services worker, who died Aug. 10. Shine, who lived in Rochester, was 61. He joined the University in May 1996.
