Center for Research Computing Holds First 'User Day'
The newly established Center for Research Computing assists faculty researchers in accessing and applying computation to scientific problems. Currently, the center helps faculty researchers and their staff from more than 20 departments and centers across the Medical Center and the College. To learn more about the Center for Research Computing's resources and services, stop by the first monthly "User Day" from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18, in the Gowen Room in Wilson Commons.

Trends in Childhood Obesity Bode Poorly for Country’s Health
Two Medical Center studies point out alarming trends in childhood obesity. Not only is the group of severely obese children getting larger, but parents don’t even see it.

Medical Center Sponsors Women’s Health Fair
As part of Rochester Women’s Health Week, the Medical Center and the city of Rochester will hold a Women’s Health Screening Fair at the Public Market from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19.

Learn about the new Master of Science in Technical Entrepreneurship and Management degree program at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15, in the Center for Entrepreneurship, 1-211 Carol Simon Hall.
