Nominate a Deserving Student
Nominations for this year’s University Student Life Awards open today. Undergraduate students at the College and the Eastman School are eligible. The annual awards recognize students who have significantly and positively impacted the University and/or surrounding community through service to others, investment of talent and time, and pursuit of excellence. The awards are divided into two categories: Individual Leadership Awards and the Student Organization and Programming Awards. Nominations can be submitted online. The deadline is Monday, Jan. 25. Summer Institute Application Deadline is March 1
The Genesee Valley Writing Project is accepting applications through March 1 for its 2010 Summer Institute. The program brings together area public and private school teachers, in all grade levels and all disciplines, for a month of intensive reading, writing, research, and practice.

Warm Up to Working Out
A free informational session offering tips to those new to working out
and to those looking for a refresher course will be held at 12:15 p.m.
Tuesday, Jan. 26, in K307 (3-6408) in the Medical Center. The session
