University Community Invited to Major Announcement at Medical Center Today
President Joel Seligman will make an announcement about Medical Center leadership today at noon during a special ceremony. The event, which is open to the University community, will be held in the Flaum Atrium of the Kornberg Research Building. A special issue of @Rochester will follow the announcement.

Staff Community Service Award Nominations
First awarded in 2007, the Staff Community Service Award honors a non-management staff member who exemplifies selfless service to the University or the greater Rochester community. Nomination deadline is Feb. 8. Details and nomination materials are available online.
Business Workshop Series Starts Jan. 20
The fourth annual Mark Ain Business Model Workshop Series and Competition kicks off with Workshop 1: "Idea Generation" from 4:30 t 5:45 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20, in Gleason 318/418. Pizza will be served. The event is free and open to the University community. RSVP to 276-3500 or cfe@rochester.edu.
Workshop: Coping with Stress at Work, Home
Well-U will offer a free workshop on how to cope with work and family stress from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20, in the Louise Slaughter Conference Room in the Medical Center. Attendees will develop a stress management plan. Enroll online.
Passport Services Offered at Study Abroad Expo
The 14th annual Study Abroad Expo will take place from 2 to 4 p.m.
Friday, Jan. 22, in the May Room and Bridge Lounge of Wilson Commons.
Representatives from the Rochester City Clerk’s office will be on hand
to assist staff and faculty interested in applying for a new passport
or renewing an existing one. The expo is designed to be a “one-stop
shop” where students can learn about the multitude of study abroad
opportunities available to them.
