United Way Campaign Starts Today
Faculty and staff are encouraged to "Live United" by supporting the University's United Way campaign, which kicks off today. Serving the area for decades, the United Way of Greater Rochester is taking a novel approach this year: The organization is funding evidence-based practices proven to help tackle the five priorities identified by the community. Fraternity Raises Funds for Hillside
Rochester’s chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon national fraternity raised more than $1,300 for the Hillside Work-Scholarship Connection program at the Hillside Family of Agencies.

Heavy Snowfall Expected
Significant snowfall is possible in the Rochester area through Friday afternoon. The Facilities snow removal staff will work to keep University roadways, parking lots, and walkways as clear as possible. The wind and potentially drifting snow will likely be the biggest challenge. Report any hazardous weather-related conditions to the Snow Removal Hotline at 275-0000.
Interested in a South Asian Affinity Group?
A reception of Indian refreshments will be offered at 5:30 p.m.
Thursday, March 4, in the Welles-Brown Room of the Rush Rhees Library
before the Neilly Series Lecture
with Indian author Abraham Verghese. The intent of the reception is to
gauge the level of interest in creating a new affinity group for the

Black History Month Family Day
The Memorial Art Gallery will host Black History Month Family Day
from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 28. The free event will include
storytelling, performances, cultural displays, and family tours.
