What Defines the Rochester Experience?

Medical Center Chosen a Batten Center of Excellence
The Medical Center has been selected as a Batten Disease Center of Excellence in recognition of its comprehensive services for patients and its long clinical and research history with the disease.

Warner Alumni Named Counselors of the Year
Three 2009 Warner School graduates—Crystal Clark, Adam Laycock, and Kelly Garner—were honored by the Rochester City School District with Career in Teaching New Counselor of the Year awards.

Celebrating University Authors
The Provost's Annual Book Celebration last week honored faculty and staff members who have authored a book, or its equivalent, within the past year. View the full list of authors  recognized, watch a slide show of select works, and see photos from the event.

Musica Spei Presents Choral Music Concert
"Music of Hope: A Celebration of Sacred Choral Music of the British Renaissance" will be presented at 8 p.m. Friday, May 14, at Saint Anne's Church, 1600 Mount Hope Ave. Admission is free; freewill donations will be accepted. For more information, call 442-4681 or visit the Musica Spei Web site.

Simon Dance Club Offers Free Lessons
The Simon Dance Club is offering a free Latin bachata lesson from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 14, in room G124 in the Gleason Building. Beginners through advanced dancers are welcome. E-mail the Simon Dance Club for more information.
