HIV/AIDS and Social Justice in Black America: Reflecting on Three Decades of the Epidemic

At some point in their life, one in 16 African-American men and one in 32 African-American women will be diagnosed with HIV. Experts from around the country will document how racism, homophobia, poverty, politics, and other factors contribute to this health care crisis, and will outline possibilities for its eradication.
