Fall 2004: 

Incoming students with Introduction to Biology AP scores of 4 or 5 received 4 credits that they could use to meet one of the requirements of a BIO major.

Possible:

AP & BIO 112 (2 cr) + BIO 113 (2 cr)  = 8 cr

AP & BIO 111 = 8 credits

AP & BIO 110 = 8 credits

Not Possible / Allowed:

AP + BIO 110 + BIO 111 = 12 credits

*Note:  for this incoming class only their lab associated with AP course = BIO 111L

Incoming students with IB scores > 6 received credits that they could use to meet one of the requirements of a BIO major.

Possible:

IB & BIO 112 (2 cr) + BIO 113 (2 cr)  = 8 cr

IB & BIO 111 = 8 credits

IB & BIO 110 = 8 credits

Not Possible / Allowed:

IB + BIO 110 + BIO 111 = 12 credits
