• Auditions are open to everyone (from freshmen to Take 5 scholars and graduate students).
• Want to Stage Manage or work backstage? Come to auditions too and sign up for a stage management interview.
• No prior theatrical experience is necessary!
• The location for all auditions is Todd Theatre Lobby (in Todd Union) on River Campus.
• Get cast (or stage manage) and get credit! (All productions are worth a minimum of 4 credits).
• Want to have a better shot at being cast? Read the play before auditioning! (Copies are available on reserve at Rush Rhees Library and from the Theatre Program office in Todd Union, Room 107).
• Haven't got an audition piece or a monologue? Just show up at auditions and you'll still be eligible to be cast (though it always helps to prepare!)

Fall 2007

for 365 Days/365 Plays:

Audition dates:
Friday, September 7 at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, September 8 at 2:00 p.m.
Preparation:No need to prepare anything! You'll be given things at the audition.

for Hello Again:

[IMPORTANT! Make sure you attend the Hello Again Audition Information Meeting on Friday, September 7 from 6-7pm in Todd Theatre.
We'll tell you all you need to know about preparing for the musical.]

Please read the following carefully: There are two auditions for Hello Again. One is a General Dance call, and the other is a Singing/Acting audition.

Audition dates **This information has been recently updated**:
There are now TWO General Dance Calls (you only need to attend one of them).
General Dance Call 1 (only for students involved in 365 Days/365 Plays): Tuesday, October 23 at 6:00pm (venue Todd Theatre)
General Dance Call 2 (for all other students): Tuesday, October 23 at 7:00pm-9:00pm (venue Lower Strong Auditorium). If you plan on attending this option, please come for one hour, and arrive either at 7pm or at 8pm.
Acting/Singing auditions: Friday, October 26 at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, September 12 at 12:00 p.m (noon). Venue: Drama House.

Preparation:
for the General Dance Call: No need to prepare anything! Just show up.
for the Acting/Singing auditions: Prepare a short monologue from any play of your choice and prepare any song of your choice. (Please remember to bring sheet music with you to the audition! An accompanist will be provided.)

Monday and Tuesday, March 17 and 18 at 7:00 p.m.
