Michael McQuilken has been writing scores for the past thirteen years. He currently resides in New York City where he builds new musical instruments, engineers recording sessions and composes new music for theater and film. Michael is a long time street performer, recording artist and maker of new theater works. He received the 'Backstage West Garland Award for Best Composition' after performing his score for Nickel and Dimed at the Mark Taper Forum in 2003.
