The 100-member University of Rochester Symphony Orchestra is celebrating its 52nd year of music-making on the River Campus. Join this group of undergraduates, faculty, graduate students, alumni, and community members for an evening of orchestral masterworks. This concert will include Jean Sibelius' "Finlandia," "Symphonic Variations" by Cesar Franck featuring Ms. Mihailovich on piano, Gershwin's "An American in Paris," and Copland's stirring "Lincoln Portrait" with Rev. Gregory Parris providing the narration.

Chamber Orchestra 2007-08 Season

In a unique collaborative effort, two elite College ensembles combine for one very special concert. The 40-member Chamber Orchestra will perform Haydn's Symphony no. 104 ("London"), and the 80-member Wind Symphony will play traditional and contemporary works for concert band and wind ensemble.
