A Message from the Director
Dear Friends,
In light of recent activity in the blogosphere, I believe it is important to state unequivocally that here at the Susan B. Anthony Institute we recognize rape for the heinous crime that it is. Hypothetical questions as to the legality of rape—any type of rape—show a basic lack of respect for human dignity, as well as a misunderstanding of the seriousness of the damage that rape entails, not only to the one who experiences sexual assault, but also to the one who perpetrates an assault.
Because the purpose of the University is to educate, we suggest the following resources for learning more about rape and its consequences:
