Tap Dance:
Making Music and Motion

Open to all levels, this course allows students to experience and study the fascinating art of tap dancing. Students will be guided through in-class exercises to establish vocabulary and technique, and through immediate improvisation to discover musical, choreographic, and creative concepts and skills. An overview of tap history will be presented through visual and written materials to deepen student's appreciation and understanding of this art.No previous experience required. Tap shoes* and comfortable clothing required. *Please see instructor before buying shoes.
