This course is a continuation of DAN 265 and it is taught concurrently with the introductory course, with a 20 minute extra studio time. The focus will be on performance and on the making of a short dance piece to be presented during the class showing. Students will also gain a deeper intellectual understanding of the work of some contemporary choreographers through video viewing and
reading.
