Week 6
One of the most common student requests that I have heard in my teaching experience is: "I want to learn English idioms!". The problem is, my teaching you random idioms, one by one, will not be a very effective use of time. Thus, this week we will be studying a type or pattern of idiom, the phrasal verb. This will enable you to recognize and mimic certain idioms when you hear them.
We will also be working on common word stress patterns.
