The Andrew P. Barowsky Fellowship provides a renewable (up to five years) award to a graduate of Dominican University of California enrolled in a master’s or doctoral degree program in any school or college at the University of Rochester.
The student awarded this fellowship must be a graduate of Dominican University of California who has applied and been admitted to a graduate program at the University of Rochester. This fellowship award is based on merit, financial need, and its potential to assist students in reaching their academic and professional goals.
In addition to any funds supplied by the graduate program at the University of Rochester, recipients of the Barowsky Fellowship will receive an annual award of $10,000 (renewable for up to five years). For those students admitted to a graduate program that provides a full tuition scholarship, the Fellowship is used to enhance the student’s stipend, providing assistance for other expenses, such as living expenses, medical insurance coverage, etc.
