Certificate Programs

Professionals seeking to advance their careers will find opportunities for growth and development through certificate programs that require less than half the time it takes to earn a degree. The following certificate programs are available:

Management Studies
Business majors and others seeking positions as entry-level managers increase their potential for success in this flexible program that can be customized to emphasize specific areas of interest. A total of six courses.
International Relations
Gain insight into other countries and international relations through this interdisciplinary series of courses in economics, history, philosophy, political science, anthropology, and modern languages and cultures--ideal for international travelers or business professionals. A total of 10 courses.
Actuarial Studies
Designed for students considering a professional career in the insurance industry, this course helps students prepare for the first two certification exams required to earn associate membership in the Society of Actuaries. A total of seven courses.
Asian Studies
Explore everything from Asian religions to Asian economic systems in this certificate program that consists of courses in fine arts, anthropology, modern languages and cultures, history, geography, political science, religion, and classics. A total of 10 courses.
Polish and Central European Studies
Students have the opportunity to learn more about Poland and Central Europe through this interdisciplinary series of courses taught by College faculty and visiting scholars. A total of 10 courses.
Mathematical Modeling in Political Science and Economics
Gain an understanding of how mathematical modeling is used in the social sciences and other fields--including political science, economics, business, and psychology. Minimum GPA requirements apply.
