Fall 2003 dates will be announced in late June at which time registrations will be accepted.

Educate your palate in the art of tasting wine. In five evening sessions, you can learn how to read wine labels, recognize fine quality wine, store, handle, and serve wine. Taste and compare more than 60 different wines and champagnes, including some of the most famous from France, Germany, Italy, and America. You will sample both great young and great old, rare wines, including the following: Dom Perignon Champagne, Burgundy from Romanee-Conte, Chateau d'Yquem (the very finest Sauterne), French Chateaux, California Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and many more. This class is taught by internationally known wine expert Sherwood Deutsch, owner of Century Liquors and Wines store.

Attendance is restricted to persons 21 years of age or older. Enrollment is limited to 36 students. Course fee is $195. Wine Appreciation is offered during fall and spring semesters.

The spring 2003 course meets for five Monday nights, February 3-March 3, 7:30-10:30 p.m., in 366 Meliora Hall, River Campus.
