Step 2: Select your favorite title

Step 3: Purchase an extra copy of this book at your preferred bookstore (new or used)

Step 4: Come to the High Line by the romantic 5 p.m. hour

Step 5: Find the Festival table located on the High Line under the covered area of The Standard, New York, and pick up an Ex Libris commemorating the Festival Book Exchange Project

Step 6: Stroll the High Line and choose someone to bestow your book upon

Step 7: Politely approach the person and present the book

Step 8: Walk away

Step 9: Remember always
