 Elizabeth Crecca has been praised for her "distinctive voice" at the piano (The Chautauquan Daily). She has performed at the Chautauqua Music Festival, Colorado College Summer Music Festival, American Bach Soloists Academy, and Amalfi Coast Music and Arts Festival. She has won top prizes in competitions including MTNA and the Chautauqua Piano Competition, and has performed in masterclasses for Robert Levin, Leon Fleisher, Malcolm Bilson, Alexander Gavrylyuk, and Jeremy Denk. Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Music in piano performance and music theory from the University of Michigan, a Master of Music in piano performance from the San Francisco Conservatory, and is a candidate for the degree of Doctor of Musical Arts in performance and literature at Eastman. Her teachers have included Natalya Antonova, Yoshikazu Nagai, and Logan Skelton.

 

At Eastman, Elizabeth has been nominated for the 2020 Lecture Recital Prize and the TA Prize for Excellence in Teaching. Her lecture recital was entitled "Performance Practice in the Piano Music of Bela Bartok: Exploring Compositional Source Material and Historical Recordings." Elizabeth is a member of the Pi Kappa Lambda Beta Pi chapter.
