This event is free and open to the public.
Traffic advisory
Due to Downtown Rochester hosting the filming of the major Hollywood movie The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Main Street and some surrounding streets will be shut down between 6 AM and 9 PM. Please note that detours and delays will affect both vehicular and pedestrian traffic, as well as bus routes. It may take you a bit longer this week to get to and from the Eastman campus. Click here for a PDF of the closure areas for your information.
For the Eastman Wind Ensemble performance at 8 PM on May 1, the Swan Street entrance to the Main Hall will be open and will be the main access point to Eastman Theatre for our patrons. Main Street and East Avenue will be closed, and there will be no on street parking in these locations on May 1. Scio Street will remain open to traffic. The East End Garage will be accessible from Scio Street and will open the entire day.
The Red Line bus will be rerouted to use Chestnut Street, but pick- up and drop off locations and times will remain the same.
