The Eastman Computer Music Class (ECMC) will sponsor a concert featuring two fascinating works by
special guest composer, Philippe Leroux. The ECMC's resident switch~ensemble,
which specializes in the performance of chamber works that incorporate live
electronic processing, will perform Leroux's celebrated Voi(rex),
and also will perform a recent sextet by ECMC staff member Christopher Chandler.
Additionally, Mr. Leroux will be at the mixing console to perform
spatialization of his acousmatic composition Objets trouvés...posés.
Information on the other works on the program will be available soon
at the ECMC website.
On Thursday November 21 Mr. Leroux will give a symposium
presentation to Eastman composers that is open to the public.
