The mission of the Educational Technology Center is to serve as a One-Stop-Shop
to assist College faculty in the use of information technology and research
tools in instruction. The Center supports the use of information technologies
in instruction, e.g., multimedia, collaboration software, and Internet
resources such as the World Wide Web.
Faculty use the Educational Technology Center's faculty-sponsored area
for assistance with their technology needs for curricular development.
This area supports scanning (flatbed and slide/negative),
web page development and other similar projects. Assistance with web page
design and development, authoring projects and graphics is available from
both full-time staff and student assistants.
The Ed Tech Center also assists College Departments with Departmental
web sites. Departmental personnel creating web sites
can contact the Ed Tech Center for assistance, or to have web-related
work completed for them.
Some portable equipment (cameras, video cameras, audio recording devices)
is available for short-term loan to faculty, and staff. |
