How do I know what calls are forwarded?
To "READ" the Toggle and Forward Buttons on the
phone: Look to see if your Toggle light is on.
In your mind replace the word "Toggle" with "Internal".
When it is lit the forward button tells you the status of the
internal calls. When it is not lit the forward button tells you
the status of the external calls.You can read it right to left.
Toggle light "says" … then forward light "says"….
For Example:
The toggle light is lit and my forward light is also lit. You
would read this " My internal calls (toggle is on) are forwarded
(fwd light is lit).The toggle light is not lit but forward is.
You would read this "My external calls (toggle is off) are
forwarded (fwd light is lit).
To determine what calls are being forwarded:Check to see
if the forward light is lit. If it is, then check to see if the
Toggle light is lit. This will tell you whether internal or external
calls are forwarded.
How do I forward without using Toggle and Forward?
To Forward Internal Calls using * 40:
Lift handset or depress speaker.
Select line appearance to forward.
Dial *40 receive special dial tone (The tone is similar to a "busy"
tone.)
Enter the number you would like to forward your calls to.
Receive set tone
Hang up.
To Forward External Calls using * 41:
Lift handset or depress speaker.
Select line appearance to forward.
Dial *41 receive special dial tone (The tone is similar to a "busy"
tone.)
Enter the number you would like to forward your calls to.
Receive set tone
Hang up.
To Cancel Call Forwarding Internal calls using #40:
Lift handset or depress speaker.
Press line appearance to unforward.
Dial #40
Receive set tone.
Hang up.
To Cancel Call Forwarding External calls using #41:
Lift handset or depress speaker.
Press line appearance to unforward.
Dial #41
Receive set tone.
Hang up.
