Step 1: Launch your Eudora application and then click Tools and select Options as seen below:

 

 

Step 2: On the left hand side find the icon called Checking Mail. Click on the icon to select it. Then you will see the right hand portion of the window below. In the drop-down menu under Secure Sockets when Receiving select Required, Alternate Port.
