REMINDER

Use the Federal Wide Assurance (FWA) Number, FWA 9386 now on all Federal grant applications and progress reports proposing the use of humans subjects in research.  The old multiple project number, M-1357, has expired and may not be used anymore.

FWA 9386 - for immediate use

The University of Rochester has received a Federal Wide Assurance (FWA) number, 9386, from the Office of Human Research Protections (OHRP).  This FWA number replaces the multiple project number, M-1357 that we have been referencing on grant applications for the use of human subjects in research.

Please begin using FWA 9386 on all federal grant applications and progress reports immediately.

ORPA will update its proposal information sheets and its website shortly to show FWA 9386 as the human subjects use approval number for the University.
