We would like to bring to your attention two new sections that have been
added to both the Faculty and Administrator's Sponsored Programs Compliance
Web Portal.

A section on the Administration of Subagreements has been added that
provides information on the when a subcontract should be considered, what
the actual agreement should contain as well as updated information on the
transition to a new model of subagreements that the University will be
moving to in the very near future.

We have now also added a section on Export Control. In our post-9/11 world,
export control has become a much more prevalent concern for academic
institutions and we have provided some basic information to help our faculty
and staff determine when they need to be concerned in collaborations with
foreign individuals or institutions, or when shipping technology or
materials to a foreign country.
