Urban Scholar Award 2013

 

The Susan B. Anthony Center for Women's Leadership Urban Scholar Award is given to students who embrace the spirit of Susan B. Anthony in their dedication to social justice, overcoming of social barriers to success, dedication to community activism, passion for community service, and/or commitment to higher education and the pursuit of professional career goals.

Students must be enrolled in a Rochester City School District high school or college/trade school, the Hillside Work Scholarship Connection, and the Teen Health & Success Partnership program while also employed at the University of Rochester, Strong Health, or Highland Hospital.

Candidates are nominated by UR faculty or staff, Hillside Work Scholarshipstaff, RCSD staff or community leaders/supervisors.
