Ruthanne Vitagliano has extensive experience teaching and leading in a K-12 district. She taught secondary English for several years before serving as a director of curriculum and instruction and as a high school principal. Her research interests center on the connection between transformational leadership and school reform. She is also interested in the development of entrepreneurship as applied to educational leadership.
At Warner, Vitagliano teaches courses on curricular and instructional leadership, assessment, decision making, organizational dynamics, and professional communications. She also supervises administrative internships.
