of Rochester, seeks applications for a clinical position as
assistant/associate professor in school administration to
begin in Fall 2005. The appointment could be either full-time
or part-time (at least 50%). This position would serve both
master’s and doctoral students by offering school administration
courses, as well as by supporting Ed.D. dissertations in the

What would we expect of you?
We are looking for candidates who have served as an administrator
and hold a doctoral degree. Urban experience and familiarity
with New York public schools is desirable. We are seeking

and deep familiarity with schools, school management and leadership.
Familiarity with program evaluation is also desirable.
Responsibilities for this faculty position will include,
at a minimum, teaching courses in the areas of school management
and school improvement, advising doctoral students regarding
their research, and supervising student interns.
And, we expect candidates to take ownership for the evolution
and growth of the Warner Graduate School as well as for their
own professional growth.
Why would you want to come here?
The Warner School is a graduate school of education within
a research university and is committed to improving education
through advancing scholarship and research, preparing high
quality practitioners, and supporting reform in education
and human development. The Warner School’s accredited
Educational Leadership programs prepare students by providing
research-based knowledge and skills in educational leadership.
We offer programs for students seeking entry level positions
in educational administration, for those seeking district
level positions, and for those who are seeking to broaden
and deepen their understanding of the theory and practice
of educational administration. Ours is a multi-disciplinary
