Farrell Defends Dissertation
Congratulations to Warner doctoral student Robert J. Farrell,
who in March, successfully defended his dissertation, An Analysis
of Power Dynamics and Tensions in the Writing Process within
Business and Industry. Farrell credits two people who have
inspired him to reach his goals by emphasizing the values
of pride, integrity, and commitment: his father, who passed
away in February 1989; and John Vitone, a 25-year University
of Rochester coach who passed away in December 1992. Upon
earning his Ed.D.in higher education in May, Farrell will
continue his research on the writing skills of professional
employees.
