summer: the Institute for Mathematics Leadership, the School
Counselors Summer Leadership Academy, the 15th Annual Institute
of Catholic Education, and the American History as Dialogue
Summer Institute.
The Warner Center for Professional Development and Education
Reform is hosting a four-day Institute for Mathematics
Leadership from June 28-
July 1. Goals of the institute include increasing awareness
of a leadership approach based on mutual understanding, and
creating a vision for change in mathematics education. For

The New York State School Counselors Association "School
Counselors Summer Leadership Academy" is co-sponsored
by the Warner Center, and is scheduled for July 6-7. The event
is intended for school administrators and counselors and is
designed to help attendees create partnerships between counselors
and administrators, and provide information about new models

The Institute of Catholic Education, scheduled
for July 8-9, is designed for teachers, school administrators,
youth ministers, church members, parents, and others with
an interest in Catholic education. This year's programming
includes lectures, group discussions, and social conversation
on the theme of "Catholic Education: A Community for
Life." An optional tour and dinner in Rochester's High
Falls district is planned for July 8. The registration deadline

The "American History as Dialogue" Summer
Institute will be held July 12-16 and 20-22. This
year's topic is "Popular Culture of the 20th Century."
