Warner teaching and curriculum students and faculty volunteered their time on December 10 for “Putting Families First Day” at Hope Hall, a private, non-denominational school in Rochester designed as an alternative for students with special learning needs.
The event was developed to offer support to families through a series of workshops on topics such as spirituality and health, personal finance, and reading to children. While adults attended the workshops, children were kept busy with a series of fun learning activities.
Participants from Warner include Kim Schmitt, Tara Spitzer-List, John Marsh, and Ann Monroe-Baillargeon, assistant professor.
