Local Teens Show Off Talent at the Genesee Valley Writing Project Summer Institute

On Wednesday, July 11, high school students from the Rochester Teen Poetry Slam showcased their personal talents to teachers participating as Fellows in the Genesee Valley Writing Project Summer Institute. Local teachers, representing all grade levels from kindergarten to university and all subject areas, had the opportunity to learn from these young poets and witness the impact the Poetry Slam has had on local teens.
