Summer Institute Welcomes 100 Educators, Addresses Diversity Challenges in Catholic Education

The Warner School sponsored its 18th Annual Summer Institute on Catholic Education on July 9 and 10. Titled, “Catholic Education: Many Spokes, One Wheel,” the two-day institute focused on some of the most pressing diversity challenges facing Catholic PreK-12 Schools. Evelyn Kirst, director of the Summer Institute, welcomed and provided opening remarks to the 100 educators in attendance.

Through a series of informative and interactive sessions integrating theory and best practices, the Summer Institute featured noted speakers who lead discussions on a range of topics including ethnicity, culture, religion, socioeconomic status, and learning styles.
