The New York State Lottery honored school counselor Enid DeJesus-Lopez as its “Educator of the Week.” A commercial featuring DeJesus-Lopez, who plays an integral part in the educational program at the Foundation Academy at East High School, aired on 13 WHAM-TV the week of January 7, 2008.

A former Warner student, DeJesus-Lopez (M.S. ’04) was nominated for her dedication to encouraging her seventh and eighth grade students to maintain their studies even through times of personal and family crisis. She also runs the RASA After School Program.
