6 to 7:30 p.m.
Dewey Hall 2-110 E/F
A panel discussion being held as part of the course: Advocacy,
Consulting, and Systems Change.
As educators and counselors, are you aware of the symptoms
and effects lead poisoning has on a young child’s ability
to learn? Would you like to know more about lead poisoning
and what you can do about it?
The Advocacy, Consulting and Systems Change Class from the
Warner School will be hosting
and videotaping a panel discussion with three dynamic community
leaders who are real-life change agents and advocates on lead
poisoning awareness. They are:
- Ralph Spezio - Project Believe and former Principal of
School #17
- Patricia Brantingham - The Coalition to Prevent Lead Poisoning
- Kathy Lewis - The United Way
Please come for all or just part of this discussion and bring
your thoughts and ideas. You will be informed about the latest
preventive and proactive steps you can take as educators and
counselors for your schools. Refreshments will be provided.
