Warner faculty, staff, students, and alumni participating
in the Warner Day of Service should meet at 9 a.m. in Dewey
Hall Room 1-305 to pick up t-shirts and group assignments
for the day.
Participants in the Warner Day of Service will work with
the following organizations:
- The ABW (Alternatives for Battered Women)-a safe
and supportive facility for battered women.
- The Rochester Boys and Girls Club-providing a safe,
positive place for all Rochester youth where there is daily,
free access to recreational, art, educational, social skills
and character building opportunities.
- Foodlink-committed to combating hunger.
- The House of Mercy-a shelter open to anyone in
need.
- Lifespan-dedicated to providing information, guidance
and services that help older adults take on both the challenges
and opportunities of the second half of life.
Groups will carpool to locations and return to the Warner
School around noon to share their experiences over pizza (provided).
